PERKY Workshops

Because Ono and Holly both have ongoing health issues, we have decided to take a PERKY pause for the rest of the year. Don’t worry, we hope to return in 2019 in a blaze of PERKY glory! Look out for more workshops, events and PERKY news from March 2019.

What people say about PERKY

For too long disabled women have been left out of the feminist movement. Ono and Holly are tackling this in inventive ways. Their work makes me feel hopeful for the future of disabled and non-disabled women and girls.

HQ stands for Head Quarters. PERKY HQ is a pairing of women, Ono and Holly, one with a learning disability and one without. Together we co-lead PERKY. We have experience of working in the learning disability sector, the arts, community development and girls’ rights.
